Starting in April 2025, we have launched our KAKENHI Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B) project: Investigation and Empirical Validation of the Value Creation Mechanisms of Data Ecosystems Driven by Competition and Co-Creation.

In this project, we explore how “competition” and “co-creation” emerge and interact on platforms that facilitate data exchange between organizations. By using multi agent simulations that account for data-specific characteristics, we aim to uncover the mechanisms of value creation in data ecosystems and provide empirical evidence to guide the development of future data-driven society.
