We are pleased to announce that Mr. Ke Yu, who completed his Master’s degree in 2024, has been awarded the Grand Prize at the 6th Young Researchers' Award by TOME R&D Inc.
His award-winning work is based on his master’s thesis, “KGSynX: Knowledge Graph and Explainable Feedback Guided LLMs for Synthetic Tabular Data Generation.”
Traditional methods of synthetic data generation often maintain statistical similarity to original datasets but fail to preserve logical consistency between features. To address this challenge, the proposed method, KGSynX, combines knowledge graphs, large language models (LLMs), and explainable feedback by SHAP to generate tabular synthetic data that is both controllable and semantically consistent.
This research represents a pioneering step toward advancing the field of data ecosystems by enabling more reliable and meaningful data generation. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our collaborators at Infomart Corporation for their invaluable support throughout this research.
Moving forward, our laboratory remains committed to developing technologies that enable the generation, circulation, and integration of high-value data, contributing to a transparent and trustworthy data-driven society.
