Teruaki Hayashi has resigned from the University of Tokyo and, as of April 1, 2026, has been appointed as an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Social Data Science, Hitotsubashi University.

During his time at the University of Tokyo, he engaged in research and education on data ecosystems and heterogeneous data integration, supported by many faculty members, collaborators, and members of his research group. He would like to take this opportunity to express his sincere gratitude to all those who have provided guidance and support.

At Hitotsubashi University, he will further advance his research, focusing on data markets, heterogeneous data integration, and multi-agent simulation of data ecosystems, with the aim of fostering new forms of social knowledge. He will also continue to promote research and educational activities that contribute to solving societal challenges through interdisciplinary data utilization.
