On August 28, 2026, we held the 3rd Meeting of the Special Interest Group on Data Collaboration (SIG-DC), a Type-II Research Group of the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence (JSAI), at the Hikone Campus of Shiga University.

The meeting featured 14 research presentations, as well as an invited talk and panel discussion by Dr. Takaya Ohsato of Teikoku Databank, Ltd. and Project Associate Professor at the Center for Data Science and AI Innovation, Shiga University. His invited talk, entitled “Data Collaboration in Practice from the Perspective of Teikoku Databank as a Data Holder,” provided an opportunity to discuss practical approaches to data collaboration. Throughout the meeting, a wide range of research topics related to data collaboration—including data analysis, management, distribution, transactions, and value creation—were presented and actively discussed.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the speakers, presenters, and participants, as well as to Shiga University and the Data Monetization Association for co-hosting the event.
